Note me
I realise my journals aren't very journalistic. (pageviews, hiatus, updates, inactivity are hardly interesting)
So let's talk about life. (Which I should be doing on my blog but it's okay)
Life has been brilliant. Due to the upcoming exams, none of the teachers are giving weird ungraded assignments or homework at all, so I've been a very happy soul. (Of course, there are the occasional worksheets that are exceptionally easy.)
Revision hasn't been the first thing on my mind. I have Jap orals in less than 72 hours. 私の夢は音楽の先生になることです。Not really actually. But it's an interesting thought.
Aesthetics has been amazingly pleasant and offers such a relaxing break from the rigour of life (though life has been fantastic recently) that I wish Aesthetics was our daily curriculum.
Recess and lunch blocks have been spent... not eating. I abhor canteen food, sad to say. And besides, I seem to always have unfinished work cropping up at the last moment. Recess and lunch blocks are now like CES blocks for me and me (as compared to student-teacher).
Oh! Would you like to know? My pet in pet society is level 32! My restaurant in restaurant city is level 29! Country story and crazy planets haven't been really long term so far.
My tumblarity in tumblr has been fluctuating. It should hit zero soon. But the amazing photos and illustrations from the reblogs of people I follow (sounds cult-ish), offers such amazing inspiration and enlightening insights on redefining creativity that... that my tumblarity should not be hitting zero yet.
I don't really have a life. But who can blame me! I want to go to West Coast Park and cycle. West Coast Park is such a pretty, charming place, I miss it so. But they don't have bike rentals anymore. I don't have the means to bring my bike all the way there anyway.
I have grudges with the school's efficiency too. Two weeks to the exam and nobody is sure of anything. We haven't even finished learning the curriculum for some subjects. Like History, we're supposed to learn something on Rebuilding Singapore too after the merger. And we don't even have time for revision. And damned expository essays and the English department. The English department sucks at organisation and efficiency, my english and lit GP is going down the drain, and it wasn't so good to begin with. And many other things. The only things I'm sure of is Chinese and Maths. Smart Math department gave us the Scheme of Work at he beginning of the year with the subjects to be tested, I can't go wrong. And Chinese is all about the same things (although the teacher in question leaves much to be happy about).
But all in all, life's good. Exams shall fly past me without me noticing. And I shall graduate from Secondary two with a passable GPA! I shall focus on being happy, next year and sleeping more.
